Karsten Ruf is the Director of Solution Management in the HANA & Analytics Go-to-Market team at SAP, with a focus on the SAP data warehouse offerings.

With over 20 years of experience in analytics solutions, Karsten's career journey began at Seagate Info and Crystal Enterprise, transitioning through education, training, and eventually product management at SAP.

During his tenure in Solution Management starting in 2009, he played a pivotal role in various projects, including Mobile Business Intelligence suite, BI for Industries, launching SAP Digital Boardroom, and bringing BW/4HANA and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud to the market.

Passionate about knowledge sharing, Karsten is dedicated to improving internal and external knowledge dissemination.

His educational background includes studying Business Administration and a Computer Specialist Program at Capilano University, as well as Mechanical Engineering at Hamburg University of Technology.

Karsten's professional journey includes roles as Senior Director Solution Management, Solution Manager, Product Manager at SAP BusinessObjects, and various education and readiness positions at Business Objects.
