Karn Saroya

Karn Saroya is the Co-founder and CEO of Re, a Web3 reinsurance startup based in San Francisco. He has a notable background in the intersection of insurance and technology, having spent over a decade in the industry. Saroya's career began with the co-founding of Stylekick, a fashion app that was later acquired by Shopify. He then co-founded Cover, a Y Combinator-backed insurtech platform that offered mobile insurance solutions, before launching Re in 2023.123

At Re, Saroya aims to create a decentralized version of Lloyd's of London, allowing crypto holders to invest in insurance through blockchain technology.
