Karl Hansen
Karl Hansen is a highly-educated individual with a diverse academic background in anthropology, forestry, land use, and economics.
He completed his high school education at Country Day School in Costa Rica and Saint Mary's College in Saint Lucia before pursuing advanced studies at the University of Oxford in Anthropology, Forestry, Land Use, and Agricultural and Resource Economics.
Furthermore, he holds expertise in Geography, Commerce, and Economics from the University of Toronto and the University of Trinity College.
Professionally, Karl Hansen has held key roles in various organizations related to sustainability and environmental conservation. He currently serves as the Executive Director at the Trust for Sustainable Living.
Previously, he played pivotal roles such as Co-Founder, Director, and Former Chair at ECO ATTRACTIONS GROUP LTD, and as a member of the Council at the Oxford Centre for Tropical Rainforests.
His rich experience includes being a Director at The Living Rainforest, a Senior Writer at the World Commission on Forests and Sustainable Development, and contributing as a Writer, Editor, and Project Manager at the International Institute for Sustainable Development.
Karl has also worked as an Environmental Journalist operating as a Freelancer.
