Karl Freeman is a talented software engineer based in London, known for his ability to identify solutions to business problems through interactive design and development. He has a passion for building scalable, tested products from start to finish with experience programming in Ruby/Rails, Elixir/Phoenix, Javascript/Ember, and Elm. Throughout his career, Freeman has worked on a diverse range of problems, including building scalable web scrapers and creating client-side analytics dashboards.

Freeman studied Graphic Design at Oxford & Cherwell Valley College, where he received a Triple Distinction BTEC ND. He started his professional career as a Junior Flash Developer at BD Network and has gone on to work for numerous organizations, including Duke Interactive, Digitas, R/GA, Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, Sudler & Hennessey, and Publicis Modem. Freeman has served as Chief Technology Officer at Ketch.io, Technical Director at Seven Stones Total Health, Head of Engineering, and presently Vice President of Engineering at Zapnito.

Freeman enjoys exploring new technologies and languages that interest him. He would like to spend some time dabbling with Swift, Go, and Rust. Freeman's expertise includes software development, interactive design, code architecture, and team building.
