Karissa Handler

Karissa Handler is a dedicated professional with a background in school counseling and case management.

She holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree from Montclair State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of New Jersey.

Karissa has extensive experience in various educational and organizational roles, starting from being a Graduate Assistant at Montclair State University to her current position as a Case Manager at Care Plus NJ, where she works closely with children and families.

Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to helping and supporting others, as seen in her past roles as a School Counseling Intern at North Arlington High School and Glen Ridge Board Of Education, as well as being a Substitute Teacher at Glen Ridge Board Of Education.

Her professional journey also includes working in public relations, having held positions such as Account Executive at Sunshine Sachs, Senior Publicist/Publicist at Finn Partners, MEDIA CONNECT Division, and Assistant Publicist at Skyhorse Publishing, Inc.
