Karin has an extensive history of involvement with various prestigious organizations, including her current role as the Director of Global Patient Engagement at Novartis Oncology.

Previously, she has held prominent positions such as Member of the scientific advisory board at Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft, Head of Communication & Patient Relations for Cell and Gene Therapy at Novartis Oncology Europe, and Director of Science Communications and Policy at Novartis International.

Her vast experience also includes roles like Director of Science Communication & Policy, Co-Chair of the Ethics Advisory Board at the Human Brain Project, and various policy advisory roles within Novartis.
