Karen Tilstra

Dr. Karen Tilstra, Ph.D., is a firm believer in the inherent creativity and leadership potential present in everyone.

She is dedicated to helping individuals tap into their creative abilities and advocates for a happier world through embracing creativity.

As a co-founder of multiple innovation labs and educational programs, Karen has played a significant role in fostering innovation and design thinking in various institutions.

With a diverse educational background including a Ph.D. in Innovation, a MA in Counseling Psychology, and a BS in Journalism, Karen brings a unique blend of expertise to her work.

Karen has a wealth of experience in facilitating design thinking projects across different sectors such as healthcare, government, universities, and Fortune 100 companies.

Having presented nationally and internationally, Karen is also an accomplished educator, currently serving as an adjunct professor at AdventHealth University and a visiting professor at Rollins College.

In her role as the Executive Fellow for Innovation at the University of Santa Clara, Karen continues to drive innovation and creativity in academic settings.

Her involvement with various organizations such as Creativity Effect, AdventHealth University, and Santa Clara University showcases her commitment to fostering creativity and innovation at all levels of education and business.
