Beyond her professional endeavors, Karen volunteers with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society San Diego/HI Chapter Team in Training Program and advocates for Women's Voices for the Earth.
Karen Smith holds a BA in International Studies, Political Science, and Spanish Translation from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She also studied Japanese at Sapporo University and Spanish at the University of Guadalajara.
She was a Founding Partner at The Kitchen Skinny before taking on her current role at Beautycounter.
