Karen Majewski

Karen Majewski is a professional with a diverse background in immigration & ethnicity.

With a Ph.D. in American Culture from the University of Michigan and M.A., B.A. in English from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Karen has a strong educational foundation.

Throughout her career, she has held various roles such as Owner at Tekla Vintage, Project Manager at the Institute for Research on Labor, Employment, and the Economy at the University of Michigan, and Mayor at the City of Hamtramck.

Karen has also served as the Executive Director at the Polish American Historical Association, Associate Professor at St. Mary's College in Orchard Lake, MI, Curator of Polish and Rare Books at the Polish Mission of the Orchard Lake Schools, Graduate Assistant at the University of Michigan, and Lecturer in the English Department at North Carolina State University.
