Karen Lickteig

Karen Lickteig is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in urban studies, communications, sustainability, and international affairs. Karen honed her skills through multiple degrees and certifications, including a Master of Urban Studies with a focus on International Urbanism and Sustainable Development from Portland State University, as well as a Certificate in Middle East Studies from The American University in Dubai.

With a passion for sustainability and community advocacy, Karen has held various leadership roles throughout her career, including Communications Chair at B Local PDX, Board Member at The Street Trust, and Marketing & Sustainability Director at Nossa Familia Coffee. Karen also served as an Events & Communications Consultant at B Lab and Planning Coordinator, Urban Sustainability Accelerator at Portland State University, where she drove measurable results in community development and sustainability initiatives.
