Karen Henderson

Karen Henderson began her career as an English teacher before transitioning into Accounting, where she has accumulated over 20 years of experience. Her current role as Assistant to the Controller reflects her newfound passion for the field.

With a foundation in Education, having studied a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on English and Biology at Glenville State University, Karen possesses a unique blend of skills that she brings to her Accounting profession.

Karen's specialties in Accounting include P&L analysis, Balance Sheet management, Account reconciliation and auditing, as well as expertise in Sales Tax matters. Her diverse skill set has been honed over years of hands-on experience in the field.

Throughout her professional journey, Karen has held various positions, including Senior Accountant/Team Leader, Assistant to the Controller, Property Accountant, Accounting Manager/Bookkeeper, and Accounting & Office Manager/Bookkeeper. Her rich background encompasses roles at organizations like Community Management Associates, American Fire & Safety Inc, Project E, and Castlebrook Homes.
