Karan Talati

Karan Talati is a mechanical engineer and co-founder and CEO of First Resonance, a manufacturing intelligence platform. With a passion for leveraging data to solve problems, Talati has driven some of the most important changes in applying data to new problems in his career, including developing data and automation systems to enable rocket reusability at SpaceX. Talati studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and began his career interning at companies such as Motorola Mobility and Samsung Electronics. He later held positions as a Manufacturing Engineer and Software Engineer at SpaceX and a Data Engineer at Sense360. Talati's ion platform is designed to power manufacturing operations by accelerating operations by around 30% while providing the traceability required for quality-critical products in aerospace, automotive, and other complex manufacturing environments.
