Karan Goel

Karan Goel is an accomplished professional known for building Cartesia and pioneering the integration of state space models in mainstream applications.

With a remarkable educational background, Karan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Stanford University, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Dual Degree in Electrical Engineering (EECS) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He also completed an exchange program at INSA Lyon and his high school education at Delhi Public School with a focus on Science and Computer Science.

Throughout his career, Karan Goel has held various key roles in prestigious organizations, including being the former Founder and CEO of Cartesia, a Research Scientist at Snorkel AI, a Greylock X Fellow at Greylock, a Machine Learning Researcher at Salesforce AI Research, a Deep Learning Research Intern at Salesforce AI Research, and several positions at Stanford University, Carnegie Mellon University, and other renowned institutions.
