Kara Smith

Kara Smith is a legal professional with a strong academic background and experience in intellectual property law, international commercial arbitration, and legal writing.

She obtained a Juris Doctor degree with honors from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she also excelled as an IP Fellow and Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vienna) Fellow.

Prior to her law degree, Kara earned a Bachelor's Degree with a B.S. and B.A. from Purdue University, showcasing her diverse academic interests.

Kara has contributed to the legal academia as an Adjunct Professor, teaching Advanced Legal Writing in the field of Intellectual Property at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Her professional journey includes roles as an Intellectual Property Associate Attorney at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP and Fuksa Khorshid, LLC, where she honed her expertise in IP law.

Additionally, Kara has valuable experience in international commercial arbitration, having served as an Adjunct Professor for International Commercial Arbitration Practicum at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
