She holds an International MBA in Strategic Stakeholder Communications from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business. Kara has held various key positions at B Lab U.S. & Canada, where she served as the Senior Director of Strategy and Partnerships, Senior Director of Growth and Partnerships, Director of Business Development, Head of B Corp Growth, and also worked in Community Development for B Lab Colorado.
