    MIT Sloan School of Management

    Kara Blackburn is a Senior Lecturer in Managerial Communication at the MIT Sloan School of Management and an affiliate of MIT Sloan's Leadership Center.123 Her teaching focuses on courses such as "Communication for Leaders," "Advanced Communication for Leaders," and "Leading the Way: Perspectives on Advancing Equity and Inclusion," which she co-created.12 She also participates in MIT Sloan’s Executive Education programs and has been recognized with awards such as the Jamieson Prize for Excellence in Teaching in 2019 and the 2020 Teaching with Digital Technology Award.1
