Kanya Balakrishna

Kanya Balakrishna is the Co-Founder and CEO of The Future Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young people to discover and use their potential.12 She has held this position since 2011, working in the Greater New York City Area.1 Balakrishna holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Yale University.1

In addition to her role at The Future Project, Balakrishna is also a Future Coach.1 She has obtained certifications in Youth Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and is a Certified Youth Resilience Coach from the Youth Coaching Institute, LLC.1

Balakrishna serves on the board of directors for The Future Project, alongside other professionals from various organizations.2 Her work focuses on youth empowerment and development, aligning with The Future Project's mission to help young people build a better future.12
