Kannan Muthukkaruppan is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in databases, large scale storage systems, language runtimes, and compilers.
He holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Kannan has held key positions in various organizations, including being the Co-Founder & Co-CEO, Co-Founder & President, and Co-Founder & CEO at Yugabyte.
Prior to his roles at Yugabyte, he also served as an Engineer at Nutanix, a Technical Lead at Facebook, and a Consulting Member of Technical Staff at Oracle.
