Artist (Painter, Printmaker, Sculptor and Graphic Designer)
Kamal Ahmad is a highly accomplished artist and educator with a diverse background in fine arts, design, and language. He earned a Diploma of Fine Art in Painting from the Sulamania Institute of Fine Art in Iraq and went on to earn his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Sulaimani University. He also studied English at The American University of Iraq, Sulaimani and earned a Master's degree in Painting and Design from Boston University. Kamal's experience includes working as a freelance artist, painter, designer, printmaker, and sculpture. He has also worked as a teacher assistant, IT manager, and artistic organizer at the University of Sulaimani. Kamal has volunteered at Community Servings and participated in the Panorama project for the Kurdistan Regional Government. At Boston University, Kamal worked as a designer and illustrator while also serving as a graduate student and teaching assistant.
