Kalen Gallagher

Kalen Gallagher is a seasoned education and leadership professional with a robust background. He co-founded New Leaders Council - Silicon Valley and Code for San Jose, where he served as co-director for both organizations. He also founded ClassDojo, a dynamic learning management system for students and teachers. Kalen has a Juris Doctor degree from University of California, Davis - School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Film Studies from University of California, Davis.

He has served as a former school board member at Campbell Union High School District and also as a 7th & 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher at KIPP Heartwood Academy. He worked as a Research Analyst for Phil Angelides for Governor and as an ASUCD President for Associated Students of UC Davis. Currently, he serves as a Leadership Development professional at Leadership for Educational Equity.

Kalen is passionate about education and empowering young leaders to make an impact in their communities. He has been featured in various publications, and his experience and expertise are sought after across the industry.
