Kai Morton is a black software engineer and designer, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems at the University of Maryland Baltimore County with minors in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Computer Science.
With a passion for technology ignited at the young age of 11, Kai has diversified his skill set across various areas within the tech industry. His initial attraction to technology stemmed from his love for video games, but he later found a deeper interest in utilizing technology for driving positive social change.
Kai Morton is an advocate for diversity in the tech industry and actively speaks at global conferences to encourage more girls, especially those from underrepresented groups, to join the technology field. He emphasizes the importance of creativity by combining elements of art and technology to develop innovative experiences and concepts.
In terms of education, Kai is a junior at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where he is pursuing his BS in Information Systems with minors in Computer Science and Entrepreneurship. Prior to this, he attended Bishop O'Dowd High School.
