Kahren Kersten

Educational Background

Kahren earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Leeds in the UK. After starting her career in London as a market researcher in 2007, she later returned to academia to pursue a Master’s degree in Industrial and Product Design at North Carolina State University (NCSU), which she completed in 2020.13

Professional Experience

Before joining ICN, Kahren founded Experience Insights, a consultancy that focuses on mixed-methods research and collaborative techniques to inform business strategies and enhance customer experiences. Her previous roles include positions at notable firms such as BrainJuicer (now System1 Group), Vizeum UK, GfK NOP, and MarketCast, where she developed innovative research methods and led significant projects.123

In her current role at ICN, Kahren curates career resources for insights professionals and works on partnerships and original research aimed at highlighting the skills and value of insights workers. Her work is integral to helping fellow researchers navigate their careers effectively.24
