iGEM Ambassador at After iGEM
Kaavya Ashok is a dedicated individual with a passion for biology, research, medicine, and animals. Currently a senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology at New York University, Kaavya also holds a High School Diploma from Middlesex School.
Kaavya has been actively involved in various organizations and roles, showcasing her diverse skill set. She served as an iGEM Ambassador at After iGEM, Assistant Language Teacher at Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) (JET), and interned at Senator John Kavanagh's Office, ROSES Psychological Internship, APAPA - Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association, and Shriners Hospital For Children. Additionally, she co-founded the NYU iGEM Team and held leadership positions such as Brand Ambassador and Head Chinese Tutor at The Perfect Tutor, Social Chair at Contemporary East Asian Media Society at New York University, and Leader and Educator at Pudong Public Library English Corner.
