Justin Perkinson is an accomplished director, producer, and cinematographer with a passion for telling global stories in innovative ways. He's a multicultural individual who has lived and shot movies in several countries worldwide, and is fluent in English, Spanish, Jamaican patois, and Mandarin Chinese. Justin's production credits are extensive and span across various mediums such as narrative and documentary feature films and shorts, television, branded content, and Virtual Reality. He has worked with high-profile clients such as VICE Media, United Nations Foundation, Maserati, Team USA Basketball, Samsung, GE, LinkedIn, Airbnb, Live Nation TV, History Channel, and PBS, among others.

He boasts a dual MFA degree in both Directing and Cinematography from UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College. He was a Fulbright Arts Grantee in China, where he enjoyed a 15-month documentary film residency and shot his upcoming documentary film "Winter Worm Summer Grass." Justin currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Cinema at Virginia Tech.
