Justin Parks

Justin Parks is an experienced application developer and researcher with a strong background in various domains, including scalability, architecture, computer vision, and 3D reconstruction. He also has expertise in scientific and parallel computing, particularly in CUDA. Justin is known for his flexibility, eagerness to learn new skills, and ability to adapt to different cultures and languages, with proficiency in both French and German.

Justin pursued his education by obtaining a Master of Science in Computer Science/Informatik from Universität des Saarlandes and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Throughout his career, Justin has held key positions in prestigious organizations. He was the Head of Demand Integrations and Operations at Smart, a Full Stack Ad Technology Platform. Previously, he served as an Engineering Manager and Full Stack Software Engineer at the same company. Justin has also worked as a Software Engineer at Amadeus s.a.s., specializing in Search, Shopping & Pricing, and at Astek Sud-Est. His experience also includes contributions as an open-source software developer for Ubuntu.

Moreover, Justin has been involved in various internships and roles during his academic journey and early career. He has served as a Master Student at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics and held technical intern positions at Sandia National Laboratories. Justin also demonstrated leadership as a Team Leader and Software Development Intern at Vontoo, Sagebit, and Elastic Image, Inc., all through his engagements with Rose-Hulman Ventures.
