Justin Maxwell is a seasoned designer and startup founder with extensive experience in user experience (UX), product management, and human centered design. He co-founded Smith.ai, a company that provides lead qualification and communication triage services for small businesses. Justin has worked as a UX Lead and Manager at Google, where he designed and managed product experiences for some of the company's most popular products. He also served as the first UX hire at Mint.com, where he led UX and mobile product design through the company's acquisition by Intuit. Justin's work has also touched on other industry giants including Apple and Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment.

In terms of education, Justin attended Walla Walla High School and went on to study at Pomona College, where he received his B.A.

Justin's professional experience includes prior roles as design lead at upthere, director of user experience and game design at Smule, product manager of mobile at Mint.com, and art supervisor at Marshall & Swift / Boeckh, among others. He has also held several roles as a graphic designer and web developer for various organizations.

Justin's experience in the startup world also led him to be the former director of human centered design and development at Theranos, a company that would be later exposed for its fraudulent practices. Nonetheless, Justin remains one of the most prominent designers in the industry, celebrated for his work and contributions to various leading companies.
