Justin Massey
Public Affairs Rep at California School Boards Association
Justin Massey is a driven advocate and political enthusiast whose greatest passion is advancing justice and human rights. With a wealth of experience working for various organizations, Justin has sharpened his skills and expertise in public policy, PR, community engagement, and political consulting.
He received his education at American University, Dana Hills High School, and Wheaton College, where he studied Political Science and Government. At Wheaton, Justin took on various leadership roles such as Freshman Class President, Service Manager, and Social Chair, as well as co-founding an LGBT group called The Faithful Within, where he helped drive inclusion and advocacy efforts on campus.
Notably, Justin has worked as a Programs Associate and Field Organizer for Equality California, where he helped mobilize efforts to support the LGBTQ community's rights. He also served as a Field Director for Joe Dunn's Congressional campaign, where he managed fundraising, canvassing, and volunteer recruitment.
Justin's other work experiences include serving as an Executive Assistant and Public Relations and Marketing Assistant for Entry Systems Automated Gates & Garage Door Services, as well as interning for organizations such as Faith in Public Life and Active Minds, Inc.
Currently, Justin holds the position of Public Affairs and Community Engagement Representative at the Orange County branch of the California School Boards Association. In this role, he spearheads outreach and engagement efforts to ensure that all public education policies promote equity and inclusivity, among other things.
