Justin Daniels is a cybersecurity subject matter expert and corporate attorney who specializes in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other business transactions.2 He is a member of the IANS Faculty, which consists of over 100 hands-on practitioners who provide actionable recommendations, research, and guidance on key information security issues.12

- Helping design and build cybersecurity and privacy into a smart city initiative that tested drones, autonomous vehicles, IoT devices, and the first deployment of e-scooters in the country.
- Delivering a TED Talk titled "Why You Hold the Key to Cybersecurity" in October 2017.
- Founding the Cybercon and Atlanta Cyber Week security conferences.2

In terms of education, Justin Daniels holds a BA in Political Science & History from Virginia Tech, as well as a JD and MBA from Duquesne University, with focuses on law, accounting, and finance.2
Outside of his professional life, Daniels enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, kayaking, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and paddleboarding. He is also an avid squash player who participates in local tournaments.2
