Justin Chapman

Justin Chapman is a Software Engineer currently working at Anuvi since January 2023, based in Denver, Colorado. He has a strong background in software development, particularly in backend and infrastructure roles. Prior to his position at Anuvi, he worked at Instagram for approximately 1 year and 9 months, focusing on backend projects related to the Feed and Explore features. His previous experience also includes roles as Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Guild Education, and he served as CTO and VP of Engineering at My Event Nation, an online event ticketing platform.1

Chapman has a diverse skill set that includes test-driven development and a focus on hypothesis-driven approaches to software engineering. He has also co-founded a venture-backed e-commerce startup, Thrive Commerce, where he was involved in developing core platform features. In addition to his engineering roles, he has a background in music production, having worked as a freelance producer and songwriter earlier in his career.1
