Justin Berman
Co-Founder and Co-Chairman
Justin Berman is Co-Chairman at Cresset and the Founder of Berman Capital Advisors.1 He works with multi-generational entrepreneurial families and sets the strategic vision for the firm.1 Berman founded Berman Capital Advisors in 2010, which was later acquired by Cresset in October 2021.12
Prior to founding his own firm, Berman worked in the Private Wealth Management division of Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was a member of the firm's Leadership Council.1 He also has experience from roles at myCFO, Inc. and Arthur Andersen & Co.1
Berman's educational background includes:
- Graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University, where he was Varsity Tennis Captain and a Rhodes Scholar finalist1
- MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he was named a Palmer Scholar1
Active in his community, Berman serves on several boards:
- Board of trustees of The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University
- Leadership Atlanta
- Grady Health Foundation
- Chairs the board of My Journey Matters, a program aimed at reducing recidivism in young offenders in Atlanta1
Berman is also involved in the Young Presidents' Organization.1 He resides in Atlanta with his wife, Mara, and their three children.1
