Justin Assad

Justin Assad is the Head Sailing Coach at Dartmouth College, a position he has held since July 2010.12 He is an experienced sailing coach with a strong background in collegiate sailing. Assad graduated from Columbia University in 2003 with a B.A. in History and Sociology.1

Under Assad's leadership, Dartmouth's sailing program has achieved significant success:

• Won the 2013 Women's National Championship23

• Finished third overall at both the Women's and Open Fleet Race National Championships in 202423

Assad has coached 11 Dartmouth sailors to NEISA All-Conference honors and 7 to ICSA All-American status.23 He also guided Deirdre Lambert to become the first Dartmouth women's sailor to win the Quantum Women's College Sailor of the Year Award.23
