Joshua Junming Tan

Junming (Joshua) Tan is a Business Operations and Process Automation specialist who currently works at Essence as a regional financial and campaigns overseer for Google. In his previous role, he co-founded and served as COO of ThunderQuote, a B2B services provider that evolved into a digital transformation provider for the social sector. During his startup journey, he led multiple business functions and co-founded five different technology product fields, including mPOS, event app engines, manpower scheduling, web ERP systems, and more. He was also named Student Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 for Singapore (GSEA National Runner-up) and featured on CJN (长江网), TechWireAsia, Sparks, and Entreprenic. Junming has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree specializing in Finance and Marketing from the National University of Singapore and a BBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He also studied International Baccalaureate (IB) at Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), where he learned Economics, Mathematics, Biology, English A1, Chinese, and Malay Ab Initio. Junming is an avid writer and contributes articles to Business Times, Straits Times, Huffing Post, Entrepreneur, and other media outlets.
