Jun Tan
Medical Physicist
Jun Tan is a highly qualified individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the field of computer science, medical physics, and biology.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Oakland University, a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science from Nanjing University, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
Jun Tan has also pursued non-degree studies in Medical Physics at the University of Florida, University of Missouri-Columbia, and Washington University in St. Louis, as well as Physics at the University of North Texas and Biology at St. Louis Community College.
Professionally, Jun Tan currently serves as an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he previously held roles as a Medical Physics Resident and an Instructor.
Prior to his current position, he gained valuable experience as a Research Scientist at Washington University School of Medicine, a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Pittsburgh, a Stereotactic Systems Engineer at Detroit Medical Center, and a Research Assistant at Wayne State University.
