Julius Chan

Julius Chan is a Certified Peer Support Specialist Practitioner, known for his remarkable recovery from chronic schizophrenia, anxiety, and depression disorders, diagnosed at 19 years old in 1993 in Singapore. He is the first local practitioner certified by the Singapore Association for Mental Health in 2012.

Passionate about mental health advocacy, Julius Chan dedicates his efforts to helping others with mental illness and mental health concerns achieve recovery and lead meaningful lives. He shares his life skills and experiences to support and encourage those facing similar challenges, aiming to build a resilient global community beyond Singapore.

With a background in Disability Studies and Work, Julius holds affiliations with the University of Sydney. He also attended St. Andrew's Secondary for his education.

In his professional life, Julius serves as a Senior Executive in Finance and Operations, concurrently holding the role of Recovery Support Manager at PSALT Care Ltd. He has previously held positions as a Peer Support Specialist and Peer Specialist at renowned mental health institutions in Singapore.
