Juliet Greenwood

Juliet Greenwood is currently the Dean of Continuing and Professional Education at the University of California, Davis, a position she started on October 16, 2023.14 Prior to this role, she served as the Vice Dean for Educational Initiatives in EdPlus at Arizona State University (ASU) for four years.12

At ASU, Greenwood was responsible for overseeing EdPlus, the university's enterprise unit for digital teaching and learning. This unit administers more than 300 undergraduate and graduate online degree programs and serves over 85,000 students through ASU Online.1 She was also an associate professor in ASU's School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences.1

Greenwood's background includes:

3. Nearly two decades at Oregon State University, where she held several leadership roles, including associate provost for Transformative Learning1

In her current role at UC Davis, Greenwood oversees a division with more than 160 staff and 865 contract instructors, generating $41 million in self-supporting revenue.1 She is known for her focus on expanding access to higher education for nontraditional and underrepresented student populations.12

Greenwood is also deeply committed to advancing diversity and inclusion in higher education.2 She has been involved in various initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes and leveraging emerging education models to boost learning opportunities.13
