Julien Salanave

Julien Salanave is a seasoned serial technology entrepreneur and investor with over 15 years of experience across North America, Europe, and Asia.

His background includes a diverse educational journey, having pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Hong Kong Baptist University, a Master's degree at HEC Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) at University of Montpellier.

Julien currently serves as the Professor of Practice and Director of Entrepreneurship & Innovation Centre at ESSEC Asia-Pacific, where he focuses on nurturing entrepreneurial skills and fostering innovation among students.

Prior to his current role, he held positions as a Senior Lecturer at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Baptist University.

His professional experience also extends to pivotal leadership roles such as Chief Operations Officer at Soundbrenner Limited, Founder and CEO at Orée, and Managing Director Telecoms at IDATE.

Julien's journey in the industry includes past roles at renowned institutions like Newbury Ventures, Apax Partners, SBC Warburg, and Monitor Group, contributing to his wealth of expertise in finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship.
