Cisco has funded an agile, product development team called Nephelo to innovate and build new product offering in the Cloud Mobility space. The team operates in an agile development model to rapidly bring a new product offering to market, reacting very quickly to initial customer feedback and market needs. The focus is on delivering Mobility Virtualization products and solutions. New deployment models that leverage NFV and SDN concepts are being contemplated as the next generation of mobility networks. 

After several successful field trials and proof of concept labs; the product enjoyed a successful launch at MWC Barcelona 2016.

Mostly layer 2 security focussed with frequent consulting on IPv6 issues. Layer 2 features include DHCPv6-GUARD, RA-GUARD, ND-SUPPRESS and DEVICE-TRACKING amongst other first hop security features.

My focus was on implementing IPv6 protocol standards and useable solutions found in many currently shipping Cisco products (IOS/IOS-XE). Examples include RIPng, IPv6 Access-lists, IPv6 Broadband (including DHCPv6, IPv6CP PPPoE and AAA).
