Julie van de Zande is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international relations, finance, and board service for nonprofit organizations. She holds a Master's degree in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), a Bachelor's degree in History from Georgetown University, and studied at Università di Bologna. Julie's commitment to philanthropy and social causes has led her to serve as a Board Member at Multicultural Refugee Coalition, and as a former Board Member of several organizations such as United Nations Association Austin, Ladies Let's Talk and GlobalAustin, among others.
Julie is also an experienced CFO and Director with broad experience in finance and business management, having worked for Emergo Group, Frontrunners Search, LLC, and World Travel & Tourism Council, where she served as Issues Manager and Director of the Americas. Her expertise goes beyond the corporate world, as she also founded a social enterprise called Hope & Sesame, and served as Trustee at John Austin Cheley Foundation, where she put her leadership skills to work for a good cause.
