Julie Mowers

Julie Mowers, a highly experienced lawyer and legal counsel, has an impressive background in intellectual property and healthcare law, biomedical engineering, and IT/infrastructure. She is a specialist in advising clients on the development and operations of machine learning software products and services. With a JD degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, Julie has held key positions at various organizations such as Stripe, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Kirkland & Ellis. As a product lawyer, Julie is responsible for managing Stripe's AI and ML solutions for identifying and stopping fraud, managing chargebacks and risk, and a host of merchant intelligence functions. Julie is highly skilled in commercial and tech contracts, licensing, and open source software, as well as privacy and automated tooling for SAAS & AI/ML.
