I am the Director of Technology Education at Inova Health Systems. In my current role I lead a team of 45 EpicCare training team members, oversee operations of tier 2 support desk, and provide operational assistance for testing program at Inova. Prior to this position I have been the training project manger for Inova Big Bang install of Epic. As the leader for Epic training, I led a team of staff that planned and implemented training for the 5 hospital sites, 200+ Ambulatory Clinics, and 20,000 end users with a team of 75 staff. In 2014 Inova partnered with Valley Health through a community connect partnership where I was a training partner advisor for the VH training team. 
Also during the Epic go live, my department created, trained, and planned the go live super user resources plan that included 800 super users for our first large Fairfax hospital go live in November 2012. 
Prior to Epic, my first position at Inova I held the position of Nursing Informatics manager which included overseeing the CPOE training and the CIS support teams.

I currently work with hospitals assisting with implementation and adoption of physician order entry program (CPOE); background includes McKesson HEO builder, Zynx ordersets, and GECE CPOE implementation.  Tasks include work flow design, education, support, buidling order sets, best practice models, and I-forms design .  Seventeen years healthcare experience, Masters prepared RN.
