Julie McCollum

Julie McCollum is an individual with a passion for college sports and a professional background in customer/constituent relations, marketing, and sales. With 14 years of experience as an alumni director and 20 years in business/commercial real estate brokerage, Julie boasts a diverse skill set.

Julie is adept at contract negotiation, having handled a wide range from event contracts to multi-million dollar real estate transactions. Her expertise extends to recruiting and managing volunteers for alumni functions and a youth volleyball club.

Throughout her career, Julie has successfully managed a multitude of special events, ranging from international alumni trips to dinosaur digs, networking receptions, conferences, fundraising dinners, award banquets, and various other types of gatherings.

Beyond her event management skills, Julie is a professional writer with experience in technical, business, travel, marketing, biographical, and speech writing. She is proficient in a variety of software including Microsoft Office, The Raisers Edge, Jenzabar, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.

Julie's educational background includes a Graduate Certificate in Creative and Life Writing from Park University, a BA in History and Education from William Jewell College, and studies in education, tennis, world history, and literature at Drury University.

Formerly holding positions such as Director of Membership Sales and Service at the NAIA, Director of Alumni Relations at Park University, Director at KC Ice Volleyball Club, Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist at Dillon Schramm Associates LTD, and President/Owner at KC Business Brokers, Julie brings a wealth of experience to the table.
