Julie Kilcoyne

Julie Kilcoyne has a diverse background, currently serving as the Joint-CEO of The Karta Initiative and the Co-founder and director of Stylus Education. She is involved in investing in and advising Educational Technology and Education businesses, with a keen interest in educational charities. Julie also serves as an adviser to D'Overbroecks School in Oxford.

The Karta Initiative, under Julie's leadership, has supported 3 cohorts of students from impoverished backgrounds in gaining admission to top universities worldwide. She is focused on expanding the charity's impact through digital solutions. Stylus Education, a UK EdTech startup co-founded by Julie, leverages digital technology to offer students valuable feedback on their work.

Julie Kilcoyne's past roles include serving as a Geography teacher in secondary schools in London and co-founding Boardworks, a UK digital content provider that was later acquired by GL Education. She and her co-founder successfully expanded Boardworks into a renowned learning platform utilized in UK schools and globally.

Julie holds a PGCE and a degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge, showcasing her commitment to education and continuous learning.
