Julie Hampton

Julie Hampton is an accomplished interdisciplinary artist, writer, teacher, and business owner. With a diverse range of interests, Julie has studied both creative writing and English literature, with an emphasis in business ethics and socially responsible investing. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Julie's experience includes serving as an adjunct faculty member at Phoenix College and teaching English 12 at the Arizona School for the Arts. She has also worked as an instructional specialist for the Arizona State University Young Writer's Program and as the Writer's Voice Director for the Valley of the Sun YMCA.

In addition to her teaching background, Julie has owned two businesses, including a.ware and One Revolving Door, LLC. She is interested in the ways that crowdfunding can transform the home mortgage industry and support communities of artists and local business owners.

Julie's writing and artistic pursuits reflect her commitment to connection and understanding. She encourages her students to think deeply about their own experiences and to engage empathetically with the world around them.
