Julie Davaine

Julie Davaine is an experienced hospitality professional who has held senior leadership roles at Merivale, a prestigious Australian hospitality group.5 She joined Merivale in 2010 as a food runner at Sushi E and progressed to become the General Manager of The Paddington precinct.36 Davaine worked at Merivale for 14 years and 6 months, serving as Restaurant Manager and later as General Manager.14

During her time at Merivale, Davaine made significant contributions to the company and gained recognition in the industry. In 2019, she won the prestigious Hostplus scholarship, highlighting her expertise and potential in the hospitality sector.3 Her journey in the industry began in Paris, where she worked in a brasserie before moving to Australia and joining Merivale.2
