Julie Cohen

Julie Cohen is the Engagement and Advancement Director at Pollen Midwest, a media arts nonprofit based in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area. She has been instrumental in growing and nurturing the Pollen network, focusing on membership engagement, strategic partnerships, and the cultivation of donors and funders to ensure the sustainability of Pollen's mission work. Her tenure at Pollen began in April 2015, initially serving as the Director of Communications & Engagement before advancing to her current role in January 2018.1

Cohen has a strong background in communications and event planning, having previously worked as the Communications Program Manager at the Bush Foundation and held various positions in marketing and communications across different organizations. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Minnesota, where she also played a pivotal role in launching the first online version of the university’s undergraduate literary and arts journal.1
