Julie Cayo, AICP, is a seasoned urban planning professional with over 25 years of experience, specializing in redevelopment, economic development, and workforce development.

She excels in workforce development, project management, brownfield redevelopment, economic development, tax incremental financing, labor market information analysis, and the development of federal, state, and local grant proposals.

Julie holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Her notable roles include serving as Interim CEO/Chief Planning Officer, Vice President of Strategic Planning and Performance, Director of Research and Planning, and Manager of Policy and Fund Development at Employ Milwaukee.

Prior to her time at Employ Milwaukee, Julie held significant positions such as Executive Director at the Redevelopment Authority in the City of West Bend, Community Development Planner at the City of West Bend, and Planner at the City of Kenosha.
