Julie Boston

Julie Boston started her remarkable career in retail at Pier 1 in 1996 as a temporary sales associate and progressed to various leadership roles over nearly 25 years.

She showcased her enthusiasm and hard work, quickly moving up to positions like Sales Manager and eventually Store Manager, receiving recognition as the Store Manager of the Year in Fort Worth, Texas.

In 2003, she transitioned to the corporate office as the Senior Manager of Store Operations, where she focused on supporting the field organization and managing the Contact Center.

Julie's journey led her to different areas within the organization, such as leading the customer feedback program, and later transitioning to IT in 2012 to work on Pier 1's website, where she excelled as a Program/Project Manager.

She is known for her competencies in motivating teams, strong communication skills, strategic planning, relationship building, and adaptability, which have been crucial to her success in each role she took on.

Julie is currently the COO at Retail E-commerce Ventures and has held key positions like Program Manager/Engineering Manager and Senior Manager at Pier 1 during her illustrious career.
