Julianna (Yian) Zhou is a dedicated third-year Computer Science student at McGill University, with a keen interest in product management and enhancing customer experiences through software products.
With a background in cross-functional collaboration across business, design, and engineering, Julianna possesses a diverse skill set including programming languages like Python, Java, and JavaScript, expertise in data analysis and visualization using SQL and Power BI, proficiency in software project management tools such as Jira and Confluence, and experience in prototyping and design with Figma.
Julianna is well-versed in Agile methodologies, business and market analysis, data structures and algorithms, and software design. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Computer Science & International Development Studies from McGill University, an exchange program in International Relations, Digital Humanities, and Philosophy at William & Mary, as well as completing the Advanced Placement (AP) Curriculum at Shanghai Jianping High School.
Throughout her career, Julianna has been actively involved in various organizations, serving as a mentee at The Product Project, a former Technology Summer Analyst at Citi, a former Research Assistant at William & Mary, a former Research Intern at AidData, and a former Legal Assistant Intern at Shanghai Bright & Young Law Firm.
