Julian Morimoto

Julian Morimoto is a student attorney at Harvard Law School, where he is actively involved in the Advocates for Human Rights organization. He is currently in his third year of law school, focusing on international human rights, particularly issues related to law enforcement and the right to life. In addition to his legal studies, Morimoto has a background in ballet, which he began studying at the age of 15, and he has expressed a keen interest in blending his legal expertise with financial regulation.12

Morimoto was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, in a challenging environment that shaped his perspective on community and support. He has been involved in initiatives aimed at assisting first-generation college students and those from low-income backgrounds through organizations like First Class at Harvard Law, which provides resources and community for students facing similar challenges.23

In his role as a student attorney, Morimoto has also participated in the International Human Rights Clinic at Harvard, where he gained practical experience in advocating for human rights issues.45
