    Julia Suh is a professional who specializes in urbanism, community building, social impact, and technology, utilizing design thinking and human-centered design approaches to solve complex problems.

    Her expertise includes community and stakeholder engagement, user research and analysis, co-design, strategic design, concept testing, journey mapping, place and customer/user experience strategy, and action planning, as well as speaking and mentoring.

    Julia has collaborated with a range of public, private, and third-sector clients, such as the Green Building Council of Australia, Stockland, Hume Community Housing Association, and the City of Gold Coast, among others.

    Her educational background includes a Master of Architecture from Yale University, with focuses on Architecture, Urbanism, Urban Design, Landscape, Cities, and Sustainability in the Developing World. She has also studied at The London School of Economics and Political Science, The University of Auckland, and completed courses in Service Design and Social Value & SROI Training.

    Throughout her career, Julia has held various roles such as Principal Consultant and Lead Strategic Designer at Tobias Australia, Founder & CEO of Paper Plain, Founder & Director of Small Shift, Urban Strategist at Urban Toolbox, and Placemaker at Place Partners. She has also been involved in advisory roles, guest lecturing, tutoring, and architectural and landscape design.

    Julia's diverse professional experience extends from her involvement with the Westpac 100 Scholars' Network (W100) and being a Westpac Social Change Fellow to her teaching engagements at universities like Hanoi Architectural University, The University of Auckland, and Yale University.
